Austin has a strong passion for teaching and researching. After receiving his Ph.D. degree in Computer & Information Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1998, he has gained great exposure in the industries of Finance, Telecommunications and Biotechnology.

His areas of expertise and research include - bioinformatics, data mining, image processing, pattern recognition, computer application design, web development, programming language, computer graphics, database, system administration, and E-learning.
